We took the tour to the Wonder Cave using the services provided by Sunset. It was an amazing experience, and while we would have had fun either way, our experience was greatly improved because of Robert our guide for the day. Robert was professional, knowledgeable and extremely personable. He handled all of the pain points such as translations, made sure we were always having a good time, and by the mid point of the excursion he didn’t feel like a tour guide but rather a friend we made in the DR. I would highly recommend Sunset and especially Robert if you’re looking to maximize your experience in the Dominican Republic.

My travel agent booked our Altos de Chavon tour with the company and it was a positive experience from beginning to end! Our guide, Robert, did a great job of communicating with me before and throughout our excursion. He was punctual, professional and very kind. My best friend and I also felt very safe throughout the entire journey which was a big deal since it was a private tour and we were 2 female tourists in a foreign country. He made it clear that we could dictate how to use the time we had and was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and country. He was also super gracious in offering to take pictures of us and hold our things if we needed it. Would definitely recommend this tour company to anyone looking to book excursions in the DR and be sure to ask for Robert!

Great Day Out! This was a lovely tour with Alex as our driver/guide. The Cave of Wonders was amazing, and quite accessible aside from the long climb back up the flight of steps. The iguanas were fun to watch as well! Lunch was good, though we did wonder why we could not have done lunch at one of the many restaurants of Casa de Campo, which was a pretty area to walk through. Highly recommended!

I took the whale watching tour combined with Bacardi island with sunset Caribbean. I booked via Viator and had a great and personalized experience. I was picked up at my hotel in Boca chica, by a wonderful tour guide, Ibrahim. 3 hour drive to the harbor, pleasant breakfast at the hotel next to the marina. We boarded the catamaran with 100 of my newest friends from all over the world. Boat ride out into open ocean and 20’ surge. The tumultuous surge was amazing for prompting the whales to perform. Breaches all around the boat and school of dolphins to boot. Ibrahim stayed by my side for all activities and I felt like I had a body guard as well as new friend. Boat ride to Bacardi island was much easier on the way back, lunch was okay, typical souvenir market and beautiful beach to walk around. Back to the harbor and 3 hour ride back home. Even though it was a 14+ hour day it was throughly enjoyable and much of that was due to a great tour guide. Thanks for a great experience!!!

Excellent organisation about the how excursion I didn’t had to worry about anything! Even that I was travelling alone I felt completely safe through the whole day! I was staying in Santo Domingo and booked a tour to Isla Saona. I have to say a big Thank you, to Alex! He was not only my tour guide, but also my best friend for the day! Really caring, helpful, smiley! He assisted me with taking photos, explaining me everything about the trip and also somethings about the local culture! I recommend this excursion! Amazing view, crystal clear water, tasty food, good music! And ask for Alex, you would be thankful later.
